Privacy policy

This policy explains how data is handled in the AfterInk mobile app and on the website. The app works locally and does not require an account.
1. Controller and contact
AfterInk is an independent mobile product designed and developed by N8 Software. For privacy matters, use the contact channel available on the N8 Software website.
2. App data
Tattoo records, tasks, check-ins, notes and photo metadata are stored locally in the app on the device. AfterInk has no user accounts, proprietary cloud sync or cloud backup.
3. Photos
Photos selected or captured in the app are copied to the app’s local space. They are not uploaded to AfterInk servers. They may leave the device when the user deliberately exports or shares them through the operating system.
4. Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally. Delivery depends on the operating system, notification settings, focus mode and battery-saving configuration.
5. QR codes
A QR protocol may contain aftercare instructions and a schedule. It is validated locally and does not provide remote access to data stored in the app.
6. Landing page
The website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking forms or marketing cookies.
7. Export and deletion
Users can export selected information through the system share sheet and delete data in the app or by uninstalling it, subject to copies they created independently outside AfterInk.
8. Policy changes
This policy may be updated if the app’s operation, technology stack or scope of data handling changes.
